Overview[]

The strength of a Six Powers user is measured by Doriki, which Fukuro can use his "Te-awase" to calculate with. The higher the level, the stronger each technique's potency becomes. Most of the users have their own variation of each technique, to increase their versatility and originality. Also, certain users tend to be more specialized in one technique, such as Fukuro with Soru, Jabra with Tekkai, Kaku with Rankyaku, and Rob Lucci with Shigan.

The Six Powers is the main style of combat for the World Government's secret CP9 agents, but some Marines have also demonstrated its usage. Coby used Soru against Monkey D. Luffy, Vice Admirals Momonga and Dalmatian used it to confront Luffy at Marineford, Momonga also used Geppo against Luffy, and Dalmatian also used Shigan against Luffy, Vice Admiral Vergo used it on several G-5 marines on Punk Hazard, and Captain Tashigi used it during her confrontation against Monet. The former Marines Zephyr and Binz are Six Powers users, with Zephyr being able to master it and Binz seen using at least Soru. It is unknown exactly how much the Six Powers is spread around the Marines and how widely known techniques are, but it seems the most commonly known technique is Soru.

Outside of the Marines, there are also others who learned the Rokushiki techniques, or adapt their principles to create their own, similar techniques. Monkey D. Luffy utilized his Second Gear mode to grasp the concepts of Soru, gaining an advanced version of it, while Sanji gained an advanced variant of Geppo that he can utilize both in midair and underwater.

Styles[]

Geppo: Also known as "Moonwalk", Geppo is one of two mobility techniques afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to actually "jump" off the air itself, which they can use to cross great distances without ever touching the ground or set themselves up for a swift, aerial attack.

Tekkai: Also known as "Iron Body", Tekkai is one of two defensive techniques afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to harden their muscles to the level of iron to either nullify damage taken from attacks or increase the force of their own.

Shigan: Also known as "Finger Pistol", Shigan is one of two offensive techniques afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to focus their power into a single finger and thrust it forward with enough speed to pierce flesh and bone, leaving behind a wound similar to that of a bullet.

Rankyaku: Also known as "Tempest Kick", Rankyaku is one of two offensive techniques afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to send out a deadly, razor-sharp blade of compressed air (known as "Sickle Wind") by kicking with enough speed and force.

Soru: Also known as "Shave", Soru is one of two mobility techniques afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to move at incredible speeds by kicking off the ground ten times in the blink of an eye which they can use to dodge incoming attacks, kill opponents before they can react, or just get around quickly.

Kami-e: Also known as "Paper Art", Kami-e is one of two defensive techniques afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to make their body extraordinarily flexible in order to dodge incoming strikes, floating and bending as if the were a sheet of paper on the wind.

Rokuogan: Also known as "Six King Gun", Rokugan is the hidden seventh technique afforded by the Six Powers. It allows practitioners to send a powerful shockwave capable of damaging a foe's internal organs, bypassing most forms of defense, and still having enough strength to hit things directly behind them.
